Iravatham Mahadevan is a pioneer in the area of Indus research and epigraphy. His contributions in the area of Indus and Dravidian studies are invaluable resources for linguists, historians, and archaeologists alike. He is instrumental in setting up the Indus Research Centre in RMRL in 2007. His papers on Indus studies are available for the readers to download.

Indus resources are being maintained separately within Indus Research Center at RMRL for easy access. IRC also organises courses and seminars to support research on Indus Script.
The Library is open
on all weekends
and on 2nd Saturdays.
The timings are,
- 9 am to 6 pm (Mondays to Fridays)
- 9 am to 2 pm (Saturdays)
