Official publications are reports published during British India by the British. There were several departments such as Education, Health, Public Works, Administration, Police, Agriculture and others. Each department published their yearly reports. These reports can be found in the State Archives, National Archives of India, the British Library and a few other prominent archives/libraries. There is a modest collection of these reports in RMRL donated by the University of Chicago. They have been digitized and now being made available through this portal. The work is in progress and the digitized material will be uploaded/ingested to the portal in batches once every month.
